 The course will be held the 25th and 26th of March 2022 and the course will be online.

 ”Canine Leishmaniasis ”Are we missing something and do we really know what to do?”

” Autoimmune skin diseases” – Symptoms, diagnostics and treatment of various autoimmune and immune-mediated skin disease

 Lecturer:Manolis Saridomichelakis, DVM, PhD, Dipl ECVD, Professor of Companion Animal Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Thessaly, Greece.

Dr. M. Saridomichelakis took his PhD at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Aristotles University of Thessaloniki in 1998 and he is a board-certified Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Dermatology since 2011. He is a Professor of Companion Animal Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Science since 2016. His publication record includes 170 full articles in Scientific Journals of full Congress Proceedings and 5 book chapters. He has been an invited lecturer in 104 and 38 national and international scientific events, respectively.

Course content:

• Canine Leishmaniosis – etiology, transmission and epidemiology
• Canine Leishmaniosis – pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and laboratory abnormalities
• Canine Leishmaniosis – diagnosis, treatment and prevention
• Autoimmune and immune-mediated diseases of the adnexae and melanocytes in dogs and cats
• Vasculitis and ischemic dermatopathies
• plus other autoimmune and immune-mediated skin diseases in the dog and cat.

Course fee: 1000SEK for members of SVDSG. Membership in SVDSG is necessary to participate, and the membership fee is 200 SEK.
